Employers - Cycle grants now available
The Count Me In! project wants to make a real difference to the quality of life of everyone who lives or works in Tewkesbury. One of the project aims is to make cycling safer, easier and more convenient.
Cycle parking is vital to encouraging cycling. Good quality facilities raise the status of cycling and encourage more people to give it a go and they reduce the likelihood of bikes being stolen or damaged.
How to apply
Employers based in the five wards of Tewkesbury (Tewkesbury Town with Mitton, Tewkesbury Newtown, Northway, Priors Park, and Ashchurch Walton Cardiff) can apply for grants to cover 50 percent of the cost of cycle parking. Grants can help you to purchase cycle stands, install a stylish cycle shelter or create a complete cycle parking compound. As well as bike parking we will consider funding other improvements such as showers, lockers or changing facilities. It’s a fantastic offer! All employers, large or small are eligible.
